Arthur Morrow was born and raised in a suburb of Boston, Massachusetts. He attended Colby College in Waterville, Maine where he studied History and Sociology. After graduation, he moved to Los Angeles, California to work as a staff accountant for Merrill Lynch. He left Merrill Lynch and became the assistant controller for Contel federal Systems. In 1990, Mr. Morrow enrolled at Southwestern University School of Law.
Since Mr. Morrow received his law degree in 1993, he has exclusively practiced in the area of employment law litigation. His extensive experience includes various employment law matters such as wage and overtime claims, discrimination/harassment claims, contract disputes, union issues and worker's compensation injuries. Mr. Morrow has also represented companies in a variety of administrative hearings, arbitrations, mediations and civil proceedings.
In addition to his extensive litigation in employment law, Mr. Morrow has drafted a number of employee handbooks, independent contractor agreements, settlement agreements and other legal memoranda. He has also participated in and conducted a number of company investigations regarding discrimination, sexual harassment and other employer/employee issues. Mr. Morrow has conducted management training and has provided daily employment law advice to companies regarding terminations, layoffs, suspensions, demotions and disciplinary actions in order to prevent litigation risks.
Mr. Morrow has lectured on behalf of the California Association of Personnel Consultants ,Council on Education in Management and Employer's Advisory Council. Mr. Morrow is a member of the State Bar of California and its Employment and Labor Law Section.
